Position Title: General Manager (Compression / Transmission)

Position Based In: Karachi - Pakistan

Education: Graduate in the field of Mechanical engineering from a reputable and HEC recognized university. Masters in Engineering / MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 14 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Sector most of which must be in field and related to high speed rotating machinery (Compressors & Gas Turbines). The incumbent should have held a Senior Management position for at least 3 – 5 years. Public Sector experience shall be considered as an added advantage.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• To develop a vision for the department’s operations and implement the same down the hierarchy.
• To ensure optimum operations of Transmission / Compression department in coordination with other departments.
• To ensure safe and reliable operations of the Compression department for the provision of gas.
• Develop site procedures and apply international codes, standards and procedures for maintenance and operation of gas transmission system.
• Develop and Implement HSE standards to operate gas transmission system.
• To supervise and coordinate with In-charge(Compression), at all locations to resolve day to day operational and maintenance issues.
• Develop budgets and keep operating expenditures in control as per company guidelines.
