Professional Qualification :
Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Technician Communications Electronics or related or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Professional Experience :
Minimum of three (3) years experience in area of primary assignment.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in planning, monitoring and upgrading of the existing digital system such as telephone, paging, microwave, satellite, wireless radio and other systems as might be necessary or required.
- Responsible for configuration and programming of all the telecommunication systems.
- Perform telephone system and equipment maintenance.
- Prepare and execute required programming and maintenance for the telecommunication systems, telephone sets, paging terminals and voice circuits.
- Respond to emergency calls in the event of system failure to maintain and troubleshoot the communications equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot communications network outages.
- Establish, pull and terminate telephone cables, equipment and network.
- Perform operation and analysis for all systems.
- Responsible for downloading and updating the latest version of the system software.
- Maintain proper technical records and cheek other technical records Responsible for keeping all equipment in good condition and conduct follow-ups on replacing/returning the faulty/damaged items to the supplier.
- Apply and monitor the security of the communications system in the Hospitals and Clinics.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
