One of our Clients is looking for Chief Risk Officer for the following roles.

Education:Chartered Accountant / Cost and Management Accountant or Master's Degree in Finance/Accountancy from reputable institution.
Experience:Minimum post qualification experience of 12 years for Chartered Accountant and Cost & Management Accountant and 14 years for Masters' degree holder. Must have 5 years experiences in Risk Assessment and Control.
Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:
- Define risk policies, design support procedures and propose strategies for risk mitigation.
- Review and update existing risk management policies and procedures through assessment
of risk exposures.
- Develop risk matrix and risk methodologies to safeguard company's interest.
- Review contracts and agreements, identify the risks and propose corrective measures to
avoid risk exposures.
- Build the risk management team abreast with quality risk management practices.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance requirements, anticipating the impact on company's operations, and advising and supporting alignments as appropriate.
- Monitor compliance framework that capture and measures the .effectiveness of alignment-between legislative and regulatory requirement, existing / renewed policies, processes and systems.
- Provide regulatory advice and support service to line management responding to business needs in respect of alignment to existing and new compliance requirement.
