One of our Clients is looking for Head of Internal Audit for the following roles.
Position Title:Head of Internal Audit
Position Based In: Karachi, Pakistan
Employer / Client’s Detail: Leading Oil and Gas Company

Education: Chartered Accountant or MBA from a reputed, preferably foreign university.
Experience:Minimum 20 years experience of financial, managerial and operations audit including 10 years as head of internal audit of a large diversified engineering group.
Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:
- Prepare, obtain approval and implement the Annual Audit Plan, report observations, suggest recommendations, monitor, follow up and inform compliance to the management and board of directors.
- Conduct special audits and investigations as desired by the management and board.
- Present the Quarterly Audit Report to the Audit Committee of the board.
- Organize external audits, discuss major audit observations and facilitate discussion with the management.
- Conduct periodic systems audits of the Company’s business processes suggesting improvements.
- Report any serious internal control issues or deviations from policies to the management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
- Review business and operational risks and ensure these are systematically mitigated.
