Professional Experience: Minimum 5 year Health and Safety field experience. Minimum 3 year of Supervisory experience on construction sites

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the project by maintaining a visible presence to the field performing daily site inspections.
• Provides the necessary advice to the Project Manager on site health, safety and environmental issues.
• Monitors compliance by conducting regular inspections and internal auditing of site activities.
• Conduct a daily tour of the working areas and log details of the observations on the Daily report.
• Undertake Toolbox Talk with site assigned personnel.
• Audit the permit systems maintained for lifting equipment, lifting accessories, excavations, confined spaces, hot works, Lock-out/Tag-out, etc.
• Coaching, mentoring and implementation of the HS&E programs in the field.
• Develop a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP) for the project to ensure a safe work environment for all company employees, contractors, visitors and community.
• Ensure new hires are orientated to the Port Qasim construction site.
• Ensure safety boards with postings including but not limited to: Health and safety policy, inspection and audit results, project hazard assessment, location of first aid, etc. are maintained and current.
