Position Title: Research Laboratory Technologist I

Education: Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology/Science or Certified Medical Technologist widi current registration in the country of origin.

Experience:Minimum of three (3) years post licensure experience in a major research Facility.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Assist the Supervisor, Research Laboratory with the staff scheduling; supervise the work and performance of technical personnel in the assigned research laboratory.
  
• Assist the principal investigator with the data collection and analysis for research purposes.
  
• Ensure that materials, reagents and supplies are available and utilized within research standard techniques.
  
• 4ssist the Research Laboratory Supervisor in generating, maintain ing and updating the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the section.
  
• Assist Supervisor, Research Laboratory in generating, maintaining and updating the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the section.
  
• Responsible for the Research Laboratory Technologists II and other research technicians v orking in the assigned research laboratory.
  
• Monitor reagents, equipment and preventive maintenance and troubleshoot instrument malfunctions.
