Position Title: Production Manager

Professional Qualification / Experience: 10-12 years Experience with Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from reputed University. Professionals training QMS, EHS required.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure the root cause identification by adopting 6 steps RCA technique at site..
• To ensure the smooth operations of process (i.e. Packing & logistic s of the packed material) fully integrated with other unit operations.
• Support other functions by providing necessary help and good customer service to relevant department’s i.e EHS & Quality specially in implementation of LOTO & conducting of QMS audits.
• To ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with the departmental standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
• To Ensure BPCS data postings (Inventory transactions, order closing, labor hour distribution, reports etc) properly.
• Consistently monitor and evaluate the production outputs against standards.
• Simplify the processes to reduce waste and variation by adopting OE tools.
• Coordinate with Engineering for preventive and breakdown maintenance of production Equipment.
• To ensure proper and timely installation of new equipments with Quality & EHS standards.
• Important decisions and analytical approach in order to minimize production loss in the events of any major breakdown or other issue.
• Minimize wastage in order to save cost.
• Update with latest technological advancement to manage competitively.
• Ensure implementation of OE to grass root levels as to improve efficiencies, eliminate wastes and variations achieving the required sigma levels as per site targets.
• Responsible for scheduling and executing the production outputs, yield/recoveries, manpower and financials including budgets as per business plan.
• To ensure that all activities are carried out with well-defined standards, meeting the requirement of latest FPG’s and GQMP’s and relevant national and international standards.
• Ensure effective implementation of QMS (i.e. all applicable GQP’s and GQMP’s) and GMP and EHS.
• Work as QMS representative of Liquid Department.
• Ensure the training of staff on Packing operations.
• Ensure the origination or review of SOPs.
