Professional Qualification: Engineering Degree

Professional Experience: 10 years experience of HSE, including 3 years as Corporate Head of HSE in a large oil marketing or petroleum or petrochemical company with multiple plant locations and facilities, reporting to senior management.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Acting as the focal point for HSE, visualize, prepare, document and obtain approval for the corporate HSE strategy and induction of HSE best practices throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance with NEQS, EPA and industry HSE standards, conduct mandatory tests, and organize audits, inspections and certifications.
• Monitor HSE practices, standards, KPIs, compile HSE data, prepare documentations and reports for management, regulatory and certification bodies, auditors, etc.
• Develop, disseminate and implement HSE standard operating procedures, incident reporting system, emergency response plans, waste management system and HSE Manual.
• Ensure that all projects and operational SOPs are designed in accordance with HSE standards.
• Coordinate with government and non-governmental organizations, HSE institutions and bodies, the industry, etc., maintain database on HSE regulations, standards and norms.
• Plan and organize regular training of company staff in HSE, fire management, SOPs, ERPs, etc., so that they are in a state of readiness to meet emergencies.
