Position Title:Sr. Reservoir Simulation Engineer

Education:MSc or PHD qualification in Petroleum Engineering or Equivalent diploma from a recognized academic institution.

Experience::At least 15 years of experience as a Reservoir Engineer With ‘at least 5 years of “hands-on” experience in reservoir Dynamic modeling.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Lead the “reservoir dynamic modeling” activities within the EOR team (CO2-WAG modeling).
• Evaluation of the performance of the EOR projects i.e. evaluation of current Polymer Flooding pilot project, future pilot project for water-CO2 injection (immiscible flood).
• Development and execution of cost effective special data acquisition programs (for current pilot Polymer Flooding, future piloting of water-CO2 injection, thermal EOR).
• Development and execution of cost effective surveillance programs (for current pilot Polymer Flooding, future piloting of water-CO2 injection, thermal EOR).
• Update existing reservoir simulation models, including history matching (i.e pilot Polymer Flooding model, water-CO2 model).
• Develop (new) reservoir simulation models (for future piloting of thermal EOR).
• Develop and train a ‘on the job’ trainings program with clear objectives for local staff.
• Provide technical advice to EOR Team Leader with regard to the performance of the EOR projects and other reservoir engineering aspects.
