Experience:Minimum 12 years Knowledge of international standards/ codes of practices. Such as ASHRAE, NFPA, NPC, HTM & IBC is required..

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• To liaise closely with Engineers! Architects of P & D to develop and design all mechanical requirements in New Works, i.e. modifications, alterations, adaptations and new construction.
  
• Ensures that all mechanical designs conform to International Standards, i.e. NFPA Life Safety Code, Health Care Facilities. ASHRAE. National Plumbing Code NPC”, HTM & International Building Code “IBC”.
  
• Prepares full specification, scope of work and schedule of material requirements for any proposed mechanical project.
  
• Carries out functional planning, budgeting and scheduling for rnaor mechanical capital projects. Provides mechanical technical direction in defining and evaluating requirements for future space and services.
  
• Assist U&M in analyzing and evaluating mechanical installations! equipment in existing buildings!facilities and make proposals for correcting deficiencies
  
• Evaluates the mechanical aspects of submitted “design packages” which have been prepared by outside consultancies.
  
• Sets performance standards and conducts performance appraisals of all personnel reporting to this position.
  
• Performs other duties as directed or assigned.
